I Can't Access the Internet (comcast)

 

Symptom:

The cable modem is connected and logged in, but still no internet access

Solution:

Comcast has blocked your account. It's time to phone them.


To Check:

Go to a command prompt and type any one of the following:

ping google.com
ping microsoft.com
ping yahoo.com

Whichever option you try, if you have Comcast account problems, you will get this response from IP Address 68.87.91.199:

Pinging ........com [68.87.91.199] with 32 bytes of data:
